Beach Bums

We enjoyed a great fall vacation at the beach with friends from Kentucky this week. I miss the beach already! Even though the weather wasn't the greatest, it was still the beach and I just LOVE it there. And so do my little ones!

Freezing cold ocean water doesn't bother them!




Ryan and Andrea flew in from Kentucky and we got to meet Baby Stella! Isn't she adorable? And a happy baby too :) We had so much fun hanging out. And the alcohol intake at night was kept at a totally reasonable level...considering there were 4 children under the age of 5 in the house with us ;)


Even the babies were happy on the beach! Nothing better than a blanket on the sand and the ocean in the background!


We shopped a little (or a lot, depending on who you ask), ate nice dinners out (yes, with all 4 kids in tow and they did surprisingly well...most nights), played on the playground, went out onto the beach, went to Broadway at the beach, played putt-putt, and the boys played golf (while the girls napped at home). We had a great time!

Such a happy little baby! Emmy was as excited over putt-putt as the older two were:)


Drew was ECSTATIC over his new golf attire...golf hat, golf gloves, and new golf clubs. There would have been new golf shoes too, except that the store didn't carry them in his size. Do you think Daddy went a little overboard with the golfing equipment?

And now, its back to reality :( Working all weekend, and a lot next week. Gotta pay for that shopping trip somehow ;)
