Yes! It really has! Emmy is changing so much everyday and has developed the cutest little personality. She is very observant of her older brother and sister and easily entertained by their ability to jump from the couch to the ottoman to the floor, all with a cracker in their hand! Yes, it is quite a household we run here! It's wild! And I love it :)
So I don't know what Emmy weighs, but she is an excellant eater and gives me a great arm workout on a daily basis. She is crawling all over the place and into EVERYTHING!!! She especially loves to get a magazine and try out the flavors of each page. She is at that age where she puts everything in her mouth.
We tried for the longest time to get her to eat baby food and she was just completely uninterested in it. Don't get me wrong, she liked to "eat" but didn't like the taste or consistency or something about the baby food. So I started giving her table food and the child is in Heaven! She LOVES it! With only two teeth, she can chew up crackers, bananas, noodles, chicken, peas, cheese, Cheerios, and lots of other table foods. I don't remember when I gave the other two table foods, but i am pretty sure its wasn't this early.
She is actually getting very good at feeding herself. Her pincer grasp has developed much more quickly than the other two. I guess she figured she would rather feed herself than wait on Mama.
And after she eats....Oh so happy!
And these two little rascals have become quite sneaky little friends. Drew instigates, Ellie listens, they both get in trouble for doing something they should not have done. I love listening to them when they don't know that I am...their "conversations" are priceless.
So not too, too much going on lately. We went to Kentucky to visit our friend Ryan and Andrea and their little girl Stella last week. It was such a fun trip and the children actually did really well in the car. We only watched about 12 movies each way :) thank goodness for DVD players in the car.
Drew is excited to start playing sports this Spring. Ellie is trying to figure out the whole "potty" thing. Emmy is begining to "furniture walk." Kevin has started going to the gym regularly and has become quite a "stud." And I am still obsessed with sewing the girls cute, one of a kind outfits. In fact, last night Kevin was flipping through the channels on the TV and stopped on some new channel and I asked him "What are you watching?" "CSPAN," he replies. "What are you 80," I ask. He responds, "Is that coming from the old woman in there SEWING!"
Yes, our life has come to this! CSPAN and sewing. Sigh.
Love to all!
